12/14/2009 160-200 BPM - Apocalyptic Mayhem (Preview) User Rating:  / 21

Oldschool Speed Metal/Thrash. I gave this track a live feel, instead of a studio feel. Gives the feel of playing live with 2 guitarists, and a bass player. 200 BPM for speed freaks, 160-143 BPM for moshing, 120 BPM melodic plodding chorus. Plenty of Whammy bar action on the lead breaks. Click track available for free at http://www.soundclick.com/zlbeats

11/03/2009 190BPM - Thieves (Preview) User Rating:  / 24

Hard. Fast. Destructive. 4/4 verses with a sharp sexy switch to 6/8. You might as well call in sick for work now and buy some new drumming shoes, because you'll burn holes in the ones you are wearing now. At least the outro will give you a chance to rest...

09/25/2009 120-160 BPM - Realm of Flesh and Blood (Preview) User Rating:  / 22

Another track from my Shreds of Black Cloud project. Medium paced black metal with symphonic elements, dark vocals. Length is 7 minutes, 20 seconds. Tempo changes, alternates between 120 and 160 BPM. Enough changes to make it interesting. Varies from lively to plodding. Breakdown in the middle with a guitar solo. As usual, all my black metal tracks scream out for double bass action. 07/22/2009 170BPM - Nintendo Ate My Baby! (Preview) User Rating:  / 27

Nintendocore! With a lot of math influence in there - hope you can keep up, heaps of fast time signature changes, and a couple of breakdowns, so you can get your slamdance on! Along the lines of Misery Signals, Sky Eats Airplane, Horse the Band, etc.

06/02/2009 140BPM - Cold Dark Desolation (Preview) User Rating:  / 24

Another track from my 'Shreds of Black Cloud' project. Medium paced Black Metal with otherworldly, screaming vocals. 140 BPM, tempo changes to 95 BPM at the bridge. Most of the song is in 4/4 time, but Verse two is 6/8 time. Song is 8 minutes and 20 seconds long. Some epic Black Metal for you. Lots of twists and turns on this one.

05/27/2009 130BPM - Through The Dark Mist (with vocals) (Preview) User Rating:  / 28

Bathory influenced, Black Metal from the pits of death and despair. Harsh, screaming vocals. Medium paced with plenty of opportunity for double bass action. Verse two and the bridge are both half time, to make for interesting change ups. The breakdown in the middle begins with a clean guitar and orchestral intro, then builds back to distorted guitars. 04/30/2009 170BPM - ChimeAir Two (with Vocals) (Preview) User Rating:  / 32

Another Chimaira inspired track with Lamb of God edge (particularly in the vocals). Expect sharp transitions, brutal verses, punishing choruses and as usual, your creative edge to bridge it all together.

04/05/2008 130BPM-WhosGotMyGoldenArm (Preview) User Rating:  / 43

Don't let 130BPM fool you, this one's for all the blast beat lovers. 6/8 sections gives a little break, with a rhythmically dynamic section following there after. This is for those of you who like to get around the set.

04/05/2008 135BPM-BlackVeins (Preview) User Rating:  / 47

Born for blast beats. High speed wrist work throughout, with a few breather sections for the uninitiated. Stock up on your medical tape.

04/05/2008 200BPM - Chime Air (Preview) User Rating:  / 50

OMG! 200BPM of 16th note exhaustion. Chimaira-like feel with a little Machinehead in the middle with blast beats waiting throughout. Warning: Buy extra sticks before playing.

03/16/2008 VariedBPM-DoubleKickWarmUp (Preview) User Rating:  / 46

This is a 10:30 Double Kick Warmup/Practice. The tempos range from 100BPM to 180BPM (10 BPM increase each time), with each section being around one minute long. The idea is to start out slow, but precise, and increase the speed while maintaining the precision. For advanced drummers, this is a great warmup. For beginners, it's a great way to increase speed and gauge you're progress.

02/06/2008 190BMP-Canadeath (Preview) User Rating:  / 39

Pounding 16th melodies leads us into our verse riffs with lots of room for double-bass play. Opportunites for blast beats are plentiful. Don't hurt yourself.

02/06/2008 190BPM-DeathMetal007 (Preview) User Rating:  / 54

Try not to hit your head on your cymbals as you blast through the Lamb of God like opener into pulsating verse riffs followed by nice open chorus with lots of improvisation room.
